Authentic Mid-Century Modern storage chest and footrest wrapped in burgundy diamond-pattern vinyl with white piping. Originally designed in the 1950s to discretely store a Lewyt canister vacuum, it makes a great accent piece for blankets, linens, or toys. Features the original bright red interior label and built-in metal moth-proofing dial. Sturdy enough to use as a bench or hassock. Shows authentic vintage character. Vinyl has a few minor scuffs and a tear on the front-lower lip edge (hidden when closed). Interior bottom shows cosmetic water staining, but the frame and hinges are solid and fully functional.
