This is a Danish Twin or Single Bed, which includes a headboard, a foot board, and coordinating side rails. These beds were designed and produced in Denmark in the 1950s. While we are unsure of the exact manufacturer, a partial label remains that references "Mobelfabrik" (Danish for 'furniture factory').
This is an AJ Royal Floor Lamp, designed by Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen in 1956. It was manufactured in Denmark for the SAS Hotel in Copenhagen in 1958. It is formed of matte painted / coated steel and retains its original elliptical fabric shade. The stem is fashioned of solid cast-iron. This lamp stands 73.6 inches in height, 9.2 inches in width, and 14 inches in depth. The condition is quite good, but remains vintage and will show signs of use and time. The original shade is intact but is original to the piece. It shows some discoloration. The lamp is tested and functional. It was acquired from a Philadelphia area collector, who bought it from a European dealer decades ago and had the piece shipped from Europe to the US. Please see photos. This is a large Shaker-style dining table, designed by Borge Mogensen for Haarby C.M. Madsen in Denmark in 1958. This example dates to the 1970s. We also have the coordinating chairs available for separate purchase. This table features a solid oak frame that has been treated with oil to enable its resistance to moisture or stains. This table measures 35.25 inches deep, 55.25 inches wide, and is 28 inches high. The wood has a desirable pronounced, patinated grain. It shows some wear from use. Overall, this table is in very good vintage condition. Please see photos. This is a Danish bar stool, designed and produced by Ole Rune Design in the 1980s. The design is reminiscent of stools that were found in diners in the 1950s, but their thick grain leather upholstery and modern iron bases impart a more luxurious feel.
This is an original AP-27 lounge chair, accompanied by its coordinating AP-29 stool, initially designed by Hans Wegner for A.P. Stolen in 1954. These pieces were produced in Denmark ca. 1958, and they were exported to the U.S. by Povl Dinesen around the same time. We have freshly reupholstered the set in a saddle brown Italian leather. There are teak armrests and grips on both the lounge and the stool, and they feature stained oak legs. The chair measures 27 inches deep, 28 inches wide, and 40 inches high. It has a seat height of 16 inches. The stool measures 17 inches deep, 27.5 inches wide, and is 16 inches high. The leather is in near pristine condition. There are some nicks on the legs from normal use. Overall, this set is in very good condition. Please see photos.
