This auction is for a fun little vintage bamboo topped table with a wrought iron base. There is a magazine space/ rack at the bottom. The wrought iron is detailed as it has these round rings occasionally to give the look of bamboo. You can see the weld spots in places and it has some weight. The bamboo top has a wood back and is attached to the base with screws. Please see the photos to confirm construction details. Measures approximately 18.5”L by 12”W by 9”T In excellent, vintage condition. This shows light/faint normal wear from age but presents very well. No chips or breaks. The feet have NEVER been broken and are solidly attached with no wobbling….. perfect used as a bedside or chair table. From a smoke free home. What a find, its not often that the inside of a piece is as decorative and the outside but my goodness this chest certainly gives it a good try, the paintwork is all original to the mid 17th century Circa 1660, it depicts on the outside ladies and gentleman of high society in ball attire, inside follows suite with the centre looking to be maidens dressed for a wedding.
