The idea being you could extend the originally designed table by pulling the leaf over the arm of a sofa to eat your dinner at. This is a full sized desk based on that model The leather top is heritage brown and it has gold leaf embossing around the edges, it has a wonderful look and feel and is very comfortable to work at. The timber is all oak which has a wonderful period patination, the top, an early brown leather with nice tooling.
