What a find, its not often that the inside of a piece is as decorative and the outside but my goodness this chest certainly gives it a good try, the paintwork is all original to the mid 17th century Circa 1660, it depicts on the outside ladies and gentleman of high society in ball attire, inside follows suite with the centre looking to be maidens dressed for a wedding.
