The base has been professionally restored, and the rosewood case has been freshly refinished. The piece measures 17 inches deep, 24 inches wide, and 20.5 inches high. The base looks terrific with no scrapes or scuffs, and the wood is in very nice condition. Overall, this piece is in excellent condition. This is an Eva Hog lounge chair, Model 41, initially designed by Bruno Mathsson for Firma Karl Mathsson in 1941. These particular examples were produced in Sweden in the 1960s. The listed price includes one lounge chair, and we have four available for purchase. These all came from the same estate, which was an extraordinarily well cared for time capsule full of Scandinavian greats in the Rockefeller apartments in Manhattan. Their design features a frame constructed from steam-bent laminated beech, and they have large-scale webbed canvas seats in an off-white. Each chair measures 27 inches deep, 16.5 inches wide, and 32 inches high. It has a seat height of 17.5 inches. There are some scuffs on the legs, and the original webbing shows some marks and small stains. Overall, these chairs are in good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
